Since NCDMM was organized in 2003, one of its core business areas has been working to engage small and medium-size manufacturers in the defense industrial supply base. This group of companies is called the NCDMM Manufacturing Consortium.
This NCDMM Consortium initiative is designed to provide technical support and guidance to smaller manufacturing businesses across the nation so they can better support DoD supply chain requirements. We focus on training, facilitating and promoting these businesses to the DoD, the Primes, and the NCDMM Alliance Partners.
We promote the manufacturing and machining capabilities, capacity and competencies of the Consortium members to the entire NCDMM Community. The NCDMM acts as a “Bridge to Industry” focusing on the requirements of the DoD, including the organic installations, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and the tiered suppliers with the goal of effectively linking consortium members to appropriate defense manufacturing opportunities.
